Why Italy again I hear some of our friends asking. And when we tell them it is to watch the Formula 1 race at Monza they all have the same response: wow!
Monza has always been top of our list of Grand Prix to go and watch live. This year will in all likelihood be the last race there, and we were not ever going to have the regret of not going.
In October last year we booked our flights, and on the 4th of January I booked our seats for the race. We will be sitting on the Esterna Prima Variante grandstand which is on the outer side of the first chicane.
We will be staying for the second time in Mandello del Lario before travelling north for one night. We then will be in La Spezia for 3 days to visit Cinque Terre. On our way back to Milan we will be stopping in Cremona thanks to a recommendation from the owner of a restaurant we ate at while away in July.
